Program Details
- How can I Pre-Order a product?
If a product is available for Pre-Order, you will be able to add it to your cart like any other product and go through the checkout process. Your payment method will not be charged until we ship the product to you.
- Are there limits on Pre-Order products?
Yes. Limitations may include quantity available from manufacturer and quantity allowed per order.
- Do I have to have a Walgreens.com account to purchase a Pre-Order product?
No. You can Pre-Order your product and check out as a Walgreens.com guest.
- How can I check my Pre-Order status?
If you have a Walgreens.com account, you can check your order history and status. If you are a Walgreens.com guest, you can contact customer care with your order number.
Payment Methods
- What payment options are available?
You can pay with an American Express, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover branded debit/credit card, Visa Checkout, PayPal, or PayPal Credit (formerly Bill Me Later).
NOTE: If you pay with PayPal or PayPal Credit, you will need to sign into your Walgreens.com account and PayPal account to acknowledge the PayPal authorization
- What happens to my Pre-Order if my debit/credit card is expired, declined, the account is closed, or there is a problem with my PayPal account?
If for any reason we are unable to process your order, your order will be canceled and you will be notified via email. You will need to place a new order with a valid payment method or you can contact Customer Care to place a new order.
- Can I use Balance Rewards points to pay for a Pre-Order?
- When will I be charged or have my points deducted?
1-3 days before your Pre-Order ships, a payment will be authorized to your payment method on file for the full amount due. Once your product ships all qualifying Balance Rewards points and discounts will be applied and the authorized payment will be adjusted accordingly.
- What if there is an issue with my payment?
Your payment method will be validated 7 days before the Pre-Order ships. If your payment method cannot be validated or has expired, the Pre-Order will be cancelled and you will receive an email notification.
Shipping
- How will I know when my Pre-Order product has shipped?
You will receive an email notification when your product ships that will include any available tracking information from the carrier.
- Can I get free shipping on a Pre-Order product?
Yes. Pre-Order products are eligible for Free Shipping as long as your order total meets the Free Shipping requirements.
